Jerusalem Old & New - Day Tour from JLM & TLV

We begin with an overview of a panorama of Jerusalem spread below is the Old City and the Temple Mount. A short drive across the Kidron Valley passing by the Garden of Gethsemane will bring us to the walls of Jerusalem. Enter the Old City and walk towards the Wailing Wall passing by the Armenian Quarter, the Jewish Quarter & the Cardo - a restored Roman road. At the Western Wall (the Kottel), you will have a few minutes for some personal reflections & if you wish, put a note of prayer in the wall. Proceed past the Muslim & Christian Quarters and the flamboyant Arab Bazar to the Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross). Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, recognized as the Golgotha & said to contain the Sepulcher – Jesus's burial site. Exit the Old City for a lunch break & continue for a visit at the Yad VaShem Holocaust Memorial*. Proceed on a short city tour of the new, western Jerusalem, and a brief tour of the New City of Jerusalem.
