At the foothills of Mt. Tabor in the Lower Galilee, next to the almond groves of Kfar Tavor, one can find the Marzipan Museum. It was founded in 1998 - in its first home - 2 small rooms in the farmer's yard museum of Kfar Tavor. In 2001 the Marzipan Museum moved to a beautiful new visitors' centre in the industrial area of Kfar Tavor.
The museum today
The Marzipan Museum occupies 250 sq/meters and
includes a room for the screening of a delightful film showing the entire process of the almond and the production of the marzipan on the premises.
Visitors also enjoy a verbal explenation, a large unique display of modeled marzipan (the only one in Israel), a canteen and shop where all the marzipan products and more are for sale.
A large room for the marzipan workshop, which is suitable for all ages - groups and individuals alike, and of course - you can take home your beautiful home made products!

Getting there
Off route 65, north (north-east) of Affula, past Gazit Junction, get off at Kfar Tavor Junction. The Museum is located in the Wine Farm, follow the road signs.
