The Ein Hod Artists’ Village is a perfect place to spend a few hours. Along its pastoral lanes you can visit the artists' galleries and workshops, purchase authentic art and craft.
Founded in 1953 by a group of progressive artists, Ein Hod lies on the western slopes of Mt Carmel, surrounded by an ancient olive grove in a breathtaking landscape looking out toward the sea and the Crusader fortress of Atlit.
Led by the acclaimed DADA artist Marcel JancoIt, it is nowadays a unique and romantic retreat were painters, sculptors, ceramists, actors and many other artists from every artistic field, live and creates.

By appointment, one can experience the authentic Guided Tour of Ein Hod, learn about the history of the village and meet artists in their studios and galleries. The artists tell about themselves, their art and sources of inspiration. Guided tour is led by Dan Ben-Arye, painter & sculptor residing in Ein Hod since 1984.
